This is Maruha Motors' original coilover suspension concept for the NA and NB Miata.
 
100% made in Japan, by a very reputable JDM suspension and shock factory.
 
The weakness of the NA NB suspension lies in the rear shocks. When lowering the Miata, the distance for the rear shock to travel is limited due to the car's design. To overcome this shortened stroke travel, Maruha has included a 20mm extended rear upper top mount. This effectively increases the stroke and allows better dampening in the rear shocks. Traveling on uneven roads will improve greatly. The steel upper mounts are made from a special mold press. This allows for a thinner and stronger mount as compared to other aluminum mounts on the market, eliminating any weak points.
