The SR-27 Step2 is the ideal choice for drivers who want a significant performance upgrade while retaining excellent street manners.
Its copper-based friction material is designed for stronger braking performance, improved fade resistance, and consistent pedal feel from low to high temperatures. MARUHA rates the SR-27 Step2 for temperatures up to approximately 650°C.
Despite its higher performance level, SR-27 remains street-friendly, with low dust, low rotor wear, reduced brake noise, and predictable pedal control. It is particularly well suited to spirited street driving, mountain roads, and mini-circuit use.

CA-27 – High-Copper Performance / Street to Track
The CA-27 takes the performance characteristics of MARUHA's street-oriented pads further, with a high-copper friction formulation designed to deliver a firmer initial pedal response and greater overall braking feel.
Developed for mountain roads and mini-circuit driving, CA-27 provides a more aggressive and rigid pedal feel than SR-27 while retaining good low-temperature performance and street usability.
MARUHA specifies a working temperature range of approximately 0–700°C, with testing demonstrating strong fade resistance at elevated temperatures. The pad is also scorch-treated to help provide consistent performance and faster bedding from initial use.

CC-27 Step2 – Carbon Performance / Track
For drivers who prioritize circuit performance, the CC-27 Step2 is MARUHA's high-performance carbon-based option.
Developed with circuit driving in mind, CC-27 Step2 uses a carbon-based friction formulation incorporating ceramic fibers and a semi-sintered manufacturing process. The result is strong high-temperature performance combined with linear response and excellent pedal control.
MARUHA rates the CC-27 Step2 for temperatures up to approximately 850°C. Unlike many highly aggressive carbon-metal pads, CC-27 Step2 is designed to retain usable braking performance from low temperatures, making it considerably more versatile than a dedicated professional racing compound.
It also features improved wear characteristics over the previous CC-27 formulation and is designed to offer less rotor attack, dust, and noise than many comparable carbon-metal compounds.
